My Trip to London so far .....

Every time I go to a new country on a trip, I feel like my previously very well behaved body begins to fall apart. I start to get weird rashes. Aches. My bowels get funny. I don't know, stuff.

Now, it's my head. I have a bruise on the back of my scalp, not sure how it got there since I don't remember hitting my head or anything. I don't even know if it is a bruise, since I haven't seen it, but it feel like one when I touch the area. All I know is that couple minute or so, I get a contraction of pain around there, what I imagine a painful headache might feel like. I've never had a bruise that hurts internally?

Then there's my jaw. I've ground my teeth all my life, but I have never woken up with sore jaws, clenched jaws, or any other symptoms. But all of a sudden now my jaw is tight and achy if I move it around.

That's all for now.

Love this place !!!!

Lousy Relatives

The best thing about Chinese New Year is the food & ang pows. The worst are relatives visiting. We only get to see them once a year or when ever someone gets married or buy a new condo (house warming). That's all. It's always the same. They'll stared at me & comment on what ever is new. Like ohhhh.... you've cut your hair- you look like a boy! Or worst, oh.... you've put on weight !!!

This year is something new, they go like : ohhh..... do you have a boy friend? You should get a boy friend. Keep long hair, guys like girls with longer hair. You should stay out of the sun & get fairer, you are too dark .... & it goes on! The ang pow they gave is not enough to compensate me for these verbal abuse. I wanted to retort, but mum gave me the look which practically said "don't you dare!"

Told mum I'll not attend such sessions next year, I'll go on a trip. Dad agreed & said we all should go off next year ....lol...

Yay.... to Dad !!!!

I need a helper badly !!!

Urghhh... too busy to update blog. And with a blink of an eye, 2016 is upon us- time flies.

Usual thing to do in January is Spring Cleaning. The smartest way to do that is to delegate the task to someone else, like mum or a younger sibling ...lol.. Dad will NEVER lift a finger at anything. We should really hire a helper. It makes no sense for us to spend hours doing all these cleaning work when we can let someone do it for us.

Mum is the one that stands in the way for this brilliant idea. She like to bring up the cost , then the thing about having a stranger living with us & the safety of our things. Regarding the cost, dad could well afford that, plus he likes to order us around to "fetch" him things like coffee, papers, tv remote & stuff" we are like his mini minions -I personally hated that. Mum is used to it- by the way she has no choice, she's his wife. I make it a note to find a man who will never do that to me in the future!

Stranger living with us? Well that's all about priorities right? Stranger vs no house work. Stranger naturally wins, at least in my books. The thing abut safety of our possessions? Well it's not like we have stacks of cash lying around or any crown jewelries for that matter. Well I'll have to bring up this issue very soon. I can't survive another spring cleaning session with mum.

If you are smart, you'll learn to pay attention.**

Do stuff' be clenched, curious.
Not waiting for inspiration's shove or society's kiss on your forehead.
Pay attention.
It's all about paying attention. Attention is vitality.
It connects you with others.
It makes you eager. Stay eager

You are smart when you understand that ....

Loneliness is the human condition.
Cultivate it. The way it tunnels into you allows your soul room to grow.
Never expect to outgrow loneliness. Never hope to find people who will understand you, someone to fill that space. An intelligent, sensitive person is the exception, the very great exception.
If you expect to find people who will understand you, you will grow murderous with disappointment. The best you'll ever do is to understand yourself, know what it is that you want, and not let the cattle stand in your way.

What's smart according to Aristotle

Excellence is never an accident.
It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, and intelligent execution;
it represents the wise choice of many alternatives - choice, not chance, determines your destiny

Charles Bukowski

The problem with the world is that the intelligent people are full of doubts, while the stupid ones are full of confidence.
